2025 | exam motivation

As winter approaches, the month of exams also arrives (at least, for my country).

Just a few days before, during the first week of December, I took my finals for the first semester. Exams piled up in three days- and not to mention, ironically enough, the PTC (parent teacher conference) will also be on my birthday. So, I hope I did well… :’D

Anyway, for this blog, I self-drew two pictures to helpfully motivate you for your exams. Even if you don’t take them this season, I hope you’ll still get motivated and get ready for future exams! I’m also going to give you some tips that I hope are useful hehe

──── Exam Motivation ────

(Note: Please excuse my horrible drawings. I also meant for the second one to be an apple tree… but I think the ‘apples’ look more like tomatoes 😭🙏

(And if you’re wondering, I drew them using Sketchbook!)

“Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.”

– Winston Churchill

“Trust yourself. Create the kind of self that you will be happy to live with all your life. Make the most of yourself by fanning the tiny, inner sparks of possibility into flames of achievement.”

– Golda Meir

──── Tips ────

  • FOR MOTIVATION
    • (Note: I’m sorry, but I just realized the channels I mentioned here are all a bit more suitable for girls 😅. They are also all on YouTube…)
    • I recommend watching various vlogs if you have time! They’re very inspirational, and living every moment to the fullest like in those vlogs can help you better manage your time.
      • A youtuber I watch is jorgina kei, and her and her sister simply misha are both so aesthetic! They also have really inspiring talks and are both so genuine <3
      • Other examples are chloe lizi, and mira daisy. They all have different morning and afterschool routines, which I think can really help you create a study schedule of your own!

  • I also recommend watching videos with various studying tips
    • Three channels I’m subscribed to are tipzzcore, oreoxme, and prettytopia!
    • They all have tips how to create your own study schedule (and manage your time), how to take notes., how to plan morning, afterschool, and weekend routines, and etc. Besides these, they also have a lot of various other videos that are all very inspiring, including teen guides, glow-ups, how to be confident, and etc.

  • You can also make your own Pinterest aesthetic board!
    • If you have time, of course (preferably made before you have your exams). You can use Pinterest pictures or take your own (I did the latter), then use an app/website for designing (I used Canva) to put them together!
      • This is mine:
  • FOR ACTUAL STUDYING
    • To me, a clean, quiet study workspace is very important! I especially enjoy listening to lofi music, so here are some recommendations
      • roti. (Seasonal, with inspiring titles for each video | YouTube)
      • Lofi Coffee (Seasonal, with different vibes like fresh morning lofi, raining lofi, etc.| YouTube)
      • Chill Pills Studio (Different lengths of studying, longer ones with breaks in between. Has various cute designs | YouTube)
      • Pianza (Very calming piano music | YouTube + Spotify)
      • xuanlofi (Various lofi playlists with different vibes, ranging from kpop lofi to jazz lofi, etc. | YouTube)
      • Lofi Bear (I have been using this lately for studying, and it’s a pomodoro timer with its own built-in lofi playlist! The bear design is very cute, and you can also choose various background music like forest humming and raining. The cons, though, are that you have to pay in order to get all the features. The default is 25 minutes I think | Apple Store)
    • There are also a lot of lofi playlists you can listen to on Spotify! Just search ‘lofi’ or ‘lofi playlists’, and they’ll come up. For example, if you like kpop, you can search for ‘kpop lofi’. If there are particular songs you really enjoy, you can also search if there’s a lofi song for that

  • FOR STUDY BUDDIES
    • Of course, you could ask your friend to do a productive study session with you. Learning while engaging with others is an excellent way of strengthening your communication skills. But don’t get carried away by talking about off-topic things :’D
    • Another type of study buddy I really like is a toy you can put on your desk while learning. You can bring a few stuffed animals (like me), or have a tiny study buddy you can carry everywhere with you, such as one of the Sylvanian family or Calico Critter figurines.
    • This way, you will feel like you’re accomplishing something with someone, and not just yourself. Having a study buddy helps a lot with productivity (though, of course, it’s better not to have one if you get easily distracted!)

Best of luck to everyone !! ₊˚🍀 Try your best, believe in yourself, and keep on going ᯓ★

Thank you for reading! I hope this blog helped you in some way hehe, and have a lovely day/night~
